The pictures in the next few pages were taken in the 1940's. This one clearly shows Weevil Creel behind St. Vincent. The road to the left is Mill Lane and Forton Road separates St. Vincent from the field in the foreground, where the boys played sports and gymnastic demonstrations
This view taken from a biplane shows a much bigger area surrounding St. Vincent, including the Hardway part of the Harbour in the distance, and the refinery just above the wingtips.
